The activity was conducted on 19 May 2026 and involved 21 participants. A participatory and experiential approach was applied through needs assessment, short lectures, demonstrations, smartphone-based practice, mentoring, output review, and follow-up planning. The training covered product mapping, smartphone product photography, promotional caption writing, WhatsApp Business, online marketplace preparation, product labels and packaging, and digital promotion of village tourism resources. The implementation evidence showed that the partner community had diverse economic potential, including local food, herbal beverages, coffee, processed fish products, cultural attractions, and nature-based tourism. However, marketing activities still relied mainly on personal WhatsApp accounts, word-of-mouth communication, and local customer networks. The program generated an initial mapping of priority products and tourism resources, draft promotional content, product-information components, and recommendations for developing shared digital marketing channels under BUMDes coordination. The principal practical finding was that village digital marketing readiness depends not only on access to digital devices but also on product presentation, content quality, customer-oriented communication, product legality, and institutional coordination. Continued mentoring is required to strengthen packaging, certification, marketplace management, and consistent content production.
2026-07-13T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 SOCIRCLE : Journal Of Social Community Services https://socircle.xjurnal.com/ojs/index.php/socircle/article/view/53 AI-Assisted Scientific Writing Training for Undergraduate Students: A Community Engagement Program Using Qwen and Avidnote at Universitas Al Irsyad Cilacap 2026-05-24T21:12:41+07:00 Teguh Iman Santoso dr.teguh.iman.santoso@gmail.com
Artificial Intelligence has reshaped higher education and research practices, particularly in supporting students’ ability to plan, draft, and refine scientific articles. However, many undergraduate students still face difficulties in developing academic outlines, synthesizing literature, organizing arguments, applying scholarly writing conventions, and validating sources. This community engagement activity aimed to introduce AI-assisted scientific writing using Qwen and Avidnote to students in the Entrepreneurship and Digital Business Program at Universitas Al Irsyad Cilacap. The activity was conducted as an interactive online workshop on Saturday, April 18, 2026, through the Faculty of Economics and Business, involving approximately 50 undergraduate students. The workshop consisted of conceptual explanation, live demonstrations, hands-on practice, guided drafting, discussion, and reflective feedback. Since the activity did not include complete quantitative evaluation data, the results are reported descriptively based on workshop implementation, participant engagement, observed practice, and learning outputs. The results showed that participants were able to practice AI-assisted article outlining, literature synthesis, paragraph development, draft refinement, and source validation using Qwen and Avidnote. The main outputs of the activity included AI-assisted article outlines, preliminary academic writing drafts, revised paragraphs, and reflection notes on ethical AI use. The workshop also emphasized that AI-generated outputs must be reviewed critically, adjusted to academic writing standards, and supported by valid scholarly sources. This activity indicates that AI-assisted writing workshops can support undergraduate students’ academic literacy when combined with guided practice, source verification, and academic integrity awareness. Follow-up mentoring, AI writing clinics, and integration of responsible AI use into academic writing courses are recommended to strengthen students’ long-term scientific writing competence.
2026-07-19T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 SOCIRCLE : Journal Of Social Community Services https://socircle.xjurnal.com/ojs/index.php/socircle/article/view/60 Strengthening Rural MSME Digital Marketing Literacy through Practical Training in Kalipancur Village 2026-07-18T07:59:49+07:00 Wenti Ayu Sunarjo wentiayu@unikal.ac.id Siti Nurhayati siti.nurhayati@unikal.ac.id Suryani Tri Suci Suryani@unikal.ac.id Widunaini Widunaini@unikal.ac.id
This community service program aimed to strengthen the initial digital marketing literacy and practical readiness of rural micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) actors in Kalipancur Village, Bojong District, Pekalongan Regency. The activity was conducted on 23 May 2026 at the Kalipancur Village Hall through a community-development approach. The intervention combined an introductory seminar, demonstrations, guided discussion, and initial facilitation on WhatsApp Business, Instagram, TikTok, marketplaces, product photography, content planning, and the use of Canva and CapCut. Program evaluation relied on descriptive qualitative evidence from implementation observations, participant questions, reported constraints, and immediate responses after the session. No formal pretest-posttest, verified attendance profile, or post-program sales monitoring was available; therefore, the article does not claim increased turnover. Participant interaction indicated improved awareness of the relevance of digital visibility and a clearer understanding of low-cost steps for beginning online promotion. Several participants reportedly started activating WhatsApp Business and searching Instagram and TikTok for content references. Persistent barriers included limited content-creation skills, time constraints, low confidence, and the perception that rural businesses depend only on nearby customers. The program contributed primarily to early-stage digital readiness. Sustainable results require repeated hands-on mentoring, competency-based evaluation, verified participant documentation, and follow-up measurement using account analytics and sales indicators
2026-07-19T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 SOCIRCLE : Journal Of Social Community Services https://socircle.xjurnal.com/ojs/index.php/socircle/article/view/58 Pendampingan Individual Layanan Digital Pensiun ASABRI di Kantor Pos Lubuklinggau 2026-07-16T17:13:03+07:00 Agus Mukmin agusmukminn208@gmail.com Erwan Iskandar erwan3645@gmail.com
2026-07-19T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 SOCIRCLE : Journal Of Social Community Services
